The high relief in the design makes these coins a bit more susceptible to earlier wear and damage.  As a result, Standing Liberty coins are considered \"worn\" until the dates are no longer visible at which point they are considered culls.\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\nAs far as silver content in a Standing Liberty quarter is concerned, culls would still contain about 95% of what it had when originally minted, so the silver loss is still minimal despite its \"slicked\" appearance.\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\nGive your silver stack some class and be sure to add some Standing Liberty coins.
