The Mercury Dime made from 90% silver was produced by the US Mint from 1916 to 1945. It was designed by Adolph Weinman and features a winged Liberty mistaken for the Roman god Mercury. The obverse of the coin is Liberty with a winged cap; the reverse is a fasces with an olive branch.
